As the Recipient Rights Manager/Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the operations of our Recipient Rights/Customer Service Department. Your primary mission? To enhance the relationship between our agency and the individuals we serve by providing exceptional customer service, safeguarding their rights, and ensuring their voices are heard.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Provide excellent customer service to individuals receiving services, fostering trust and rapport.
- Safeguard the rights of individuals served, investigating any allegations of rights violations with diligence and sensitivity.
- Conduct training sessions for staff, individuals served, and other stakeholders on recipient rights, empowering them with knowledge and understanding.
- Perform site monitoring to ensure compliance and quality of care.
- Offer consultation and technical assistance to staff, promoting best practices in recipient rights.
- Serve, participate, and contribute to various committees within the Agency and the U.P. region.
- Act as the Agency’s Privacy Officer, upholding confidentiality standards with integrity.
- Some travel will be required to fulfill job duties effectively.
- Report to the Executive Director.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $57,400 – $69,056 annual starting pay based on education and experience.
- PLUS $5,000 sign-on bonus.

- Retirement and deferred compensation plans.
- Full-time Monday – Friday position generally working 8am – 5pm.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Bachelor’s degree from a relevant field of study (psychology, social work, counseling, human services, etc.), or an equivalent combination of education and experience allowing you to be successful in this position is required.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, capable of handling complex situations effectively.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license is required as this position may have occasional travel in the local area.
- Ability to successfully pass a background screening.
